My Champion

There was no doubt in my mind what my blip had to be today! My daughter showing off her silver medal and trophy from yesterday.

I've heard all about the weekend in minute detail, watched videos and looked at photos. When we were watching the video of her in the final, she analysed her own performance and told me (completely unprompted) why the other girl (it was a mixed competition with boys) had won and why she deserved to win - it was all to do with the turn and Olivia's wasn't sharp enough. That really impressed me. I have 16 year old students who find it very difficult to analyse sporting performance.
