The fat feeder has got a lot smaller over the past couple of days.  I thought it was because it's been so cold, but today I realised it's because this hooded crow has been taking massive chunks out of it :)  He is also prime suspect for a number of eggs which have disappeared.  I know farmers don't like them because they will kill small lambs, but I do think they are fine-looking birds.

Went to Hurricane Book Club at the library tonight...the author was there, her book is superb, and it was a super evening.
