Take cat to vet, get told cat is obese. Start cat on special diet, cat gets severe constipation. Take cat back to vet, get told cat needs overnight stay, lots of medication and new strategy to tackle obesity.

Sell car to pay vet bill and turn to red wine for comfort. OK, the sell the car bit is included for dramatic effect, but I am beginning to think perhaps black cats are bad luck.
