Letter from America

Guess who we got treated to this evening - THE PROCLAIMERS!! Right here in Dubai... at The Irish Village!

Stevie and Diane took G & me... and we had a fab time! I loved the simplicity of this concert - 6 musicians on stage playing brilliant music and a great audience to go with it. Letter from America is the first song I ever heard by them, and still one of my favourites; and it is the first one that we all joined in to sing along... even me!

Had a hiccup at work today and ended up chatting about it till quite late. Couldn't believe it was nearly 1:30am when we dropped Diane & Stevie home; so no chance of blipping last night.

It is the weekend, and I am so glad for it!
