Yay!

It has been one of my dreams to get a shot of a Kingfisher. This is not the best - he caught me by surprise so my shutter speed was silly etc. I was leaving Home Park this morning - it was heavily overcast and one of those mornings when all the birds and animals seemed to have gone into hiding. I propped my bike against a bench and was putting my camera away when I heard the unmistakable cry of the kingfisher, saw a blue flash, whipped round and was just in time to catch him on the branch.
Much more practice is needed here but I am happy!
