Thats better!!

Phew no more snow just need this cold wind to go away so the grass will actually grow. These are last years calves including Jessie, Heather and Bonnie. New lamb this morning a bit weak after a difficult birth so in the maternity ward. Loving my new catering kettle for making up batches of lambs milk. Especially as there were disasters at the farm where we manage the livestock and husband came home with 6 lambs. Thank goodness for the shepherdess ad lib feeder. Although we have been teaching them how to use it. Most have the hang of it now though.

Mij has been collected. The dog im looking after now is Ben who on new years day jumped out the back of a pick up while it was moving and smashed his back leg. First vets to operate did a bad job and the bone was dying so he then went onto specialists and a large sum of money plus second operation including bone graft and hes on the road to recovery. Hes only allowed 3 x 20minute walks on the lead and not allowed to run free outside with my dogs. Hes hard work as hes just a youngster and really wants to play with my lot. Im also terribly paranoid about him damaging his expensive leg while in my care!!
