March Hill

I pulled back the curtains this morning to find the garden under an inch of snow and blizzard conditions sweeping down the Scammonden Valley.

Most of the snow had disappeared by mid-morning. The only bits remaining being on the high ground.

I drove home this evening "over the tops" and took this shot from Buckstones Edge looking south-west towards March Hill on Marsden Moor which is one of Britain's primary Mesolithic sites.
