Annual

Our annual trip to St Andrews, for me to chair some event organised by the student European Movement. This time on the EU referendum. Quite entertaining but fairly low key compared to two years ago. And afterwards we collected fish and chips and went and ate them down by the harbour. Just like we did last year. A bit later in the evening (this was a 7pm start) but also a better sunset.

This was after a morning of rapid email shovelling, and then a fairly frustrating afternoon in the westend doing stuff that I was obliged to do, hopefully for the great collective good. But who knows?

Chasing the links back to two years ago makes me realise I was in St Andrews on exactly this day two years ago. And the blossom was out in the Institute courtyard. Not a chance this year. Still way to go....
