Sark, Sheep and Sun....

Well, summer has finally arrived - YEA !

11 of us headed off this morning on our boats (we don't have one) to the island of Sark for the day, our captain being Doug, me helping, Mr. M. taking a back seat.

Fabulous lunch at Maison Pommier - a restaurant (and Bed & Breakfast) with a fantastic garden, which we were lucky to be able to sit out in.

We realised that today was also the annual Sark Sheep race. See here for a u tube video (not mine) to give you an idea what I am writing about. We did not make the race, but came across these men, dressed up at the Belaire Pub; I don't think they were expecting the weather to have been so hot ! Don't ask why there was a man dressed as a women - I don't know, and didn't ask :)
