A Bleak Autumn Morning

Today we had our first cloud inversion for the year.  The sun has only just broken through at the end of the day.  I took this photo first thing this morning, when the lake was calm, and the leaves were lying all over the ground.  These trees are just below Edgewater.  The mountain in the background is Mt Iron, the same mountain as I photographed yesterday.  The lady in this picture comes from Korea, she told me she is having a lovely holiday in NZ.

This afternoon was the last day of croquet for the year.  16 turned up, and we all enjoyed our games before we had a festive afternoon tea.

Last day of April, May is just a few hours away!
