Milking time

Cows are intelligent animals. They know it's just about time to be dried off for winter. Milking this afternoon saw them not wanting to go into the cowshed. We had to get Al, the Border Collie, to help round them up.

We went out to the Red Barn for lunch today to celebrate my father in law's upcoming birthday. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours.

It has been a lovely warm afternoon.  Autumn is a great time of the year.  It's a pity it will soon be over.
