Gellert Baths

Our last day in Budapest and we hurried up early to the Castle area thinking it would be quiet. But as we approached there were large numbers of people carrying flowers and balloons all heading for St Stephen's Basilica. This area was crowded and we never did find out what was happening there.

After strolling around the quieter back streets we headed for the famous Gellert Baths where this photo was taken. Unfortunately we didn't stay to indulge in these traditions but headed off over the bridge to wander around the other main areas. See extra for detail of one of the stained glass windows.
