Snow Lady
We had a call this morning from our colleague at Lochalsh to say that there was three inches of snow there! We had nothing more than a scattering down at the Point of Sleat, but the hills were covered and when we arrived at the Woodland Garden it was inches deep and snowing a fair bit. This rhododendron is the very appropriately named 'Snow Lady' with Balmacara House in the background.
We got very wet over the course of the day and were still a little soggy when we visited friends of Tim's for dinner and then attended a concert held at the Gaelic College, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, at Armadale. They have a variety of musical evenings and this one was a Country show with a couple of Canadian guitarists and vocalists plus an Orcadian accordionist. Western Swing, I suppose, and very enjoyable, though there were only 23 in the audience! My extra shows the poster which I liberated the next day from a display case along the road.
