The Heavies

A trip to the Inverness Highland Games today which was, I'm afraid, a little disappointing. The venue seemed far too small for Scotland's northernmost city, and other than the six or seven heavy competitors and a series of races there actually wasn't that much on. There was an Armed Forces parade and ceremony at the start which was great to watch, if a little brief again, and the pipe band were very good.

Still, Kit enjoyed it and the actual tourists seemed happy enough so there you go.
