Bye Bye Sheffield

Glad to get away. Glad to be heading home.

My new room in the Holiday Inn was much quieter, so I slept better than the previous night. It overlooks a busy street however (see Blip) so between the traffic noise and not being able to open the window (which would have made the noise worse), it wasn't perfect.

The Blip was taken about 5am.

I was there for breakfast at 06:31 and in the car for 07:45. The roads were quiet at that time on a Saturday, so a steady 85-90mph 70mph made the 282 miles pass reasonably quickly. Only 5 sets of major road works to deal with.

Looking forward to my own bed tonight.
