We're Coming to Get You, Bognor Regis

An unlikely title, I know. At 10 to 3 this afternoon, I heard cheering from the Worthing FC ground which is just around the corner from us, and remembered that Worthing were playing Faversham Town in the Ryman South Division play-off final. Ben's friend Joe had just arrived, so we went to watch. An action packed game: 3-0, a sending off and a saved penalty. The Worthing hardcore fans (all 50-odd of them) were in fine voice, and the title is my favourite of their songs (Bognor play in the division above them) But why on earth did they take off one shoe and wave it in the air at one point? There was even a pitch invasion after (see extra) and someone fired a confetti rocket! Ben and Joe joined in, much to their excitement.

In other news, we spent the morning closing down the old pond and moving the frogs. There's a newt in there, too!!
