Ducking around
I promised my husband a shorter walk today but I hadn't bargained for a missing bridge (see extra), which collapsed in the storms last December so we added about 3 miles to the intended walk which started and ended in Staverley. The walk was very varied, with lots of fields of lambs and some new obstacles to negotiate by way of ladder stiles which we hadn't encountered before. We must have climbed about 12 of them. These ducks and the heron were along the river. I have also added a sunset to yesterday's entry in extras. I thought it looked pretty special.
