New Boardwalk, Rouken Glen Park, Glasgow

We went exploring this afternoon, to find this new boardwalk.  CJ knows one of the engineers who has been involved in the project, and had heard it has just been completed.  

We thought it was up near the pond and main waterfall, but after a long trek, we eventually found it starts at the right hand side of the car park at the main entrance (as you look at the Garden Centre), and runs to the Drunken Man's Steps at the far side of the Walled Garden. 600 metres of woodland walk, boardwalks and new bridges.  We had never seen this part of the park before, and discovered another waterfall and old dam walls.  

An extra shot, spotted these Love Locks on the bridge at the main waterfall.  

Good to have my SLR out to play today, with my 50mm lens set at f/1.4.  My favourite stop!
