Golgotha

It was the last game of the season and as one of the games was being televised all the matches in the division had to kick off at 5.30pm.

After I returned from my tour at Speke Hall we headed for Chester. We particularly wanted to see the art installation Golgotha by the Scottish artist David Mach. Tomorrow, Sunday is the last day it will be in the cathedral. It is available to buy for a cool £1.2m and is made from coat hangers.

They are also building a model of the cathedral from 350,000 Lego bricks. You can purchase one brick for £1 or for larger amounts you can buy specific items like the organ. They hope to have it completed in the next 8 to 10 years and the monies raised will go towards the Chester Cathedral Education Trust fund.

For the record we ran out 4-2 winners ending a rather dismal season with three consecutive victories.
