Short Hike

We had to cut our hike ( part of the Arizona Trail) short today because of rain but the temperature was perfect so we could not complain. Besides, it's a rule that you can never complain about rain in Arizona. :)

We did meet a group of hikers that were taking the entire Arizona Trail (800 miles/1287km) from the USA/Mexico border to Utah. They had been on the trail for 2 weeks. We gave them our extra water and a bag of Gummy Bears (usually in my backpack because you never know when you might need them). It's always great to see people who are enthusiastic and motivated.

It was a good day.
