traveling is always exciting

Today I've started my travels back to Haiti.

After a cosy family lunch at my cousin's house, my parents and Gina brought me to the aiport.
Travelling is always a little stressful. But today it got a whole different dimension! In the security checking area for my flight, there was a bad smell hanging around that got everyone coughing. Once the fire police came out it starting looking scary, but it turned out to be nothing. All in all, a lot of ecitement and a delayed plane.

Once arrived in New York, the customs officers were being really thorough (in other words: it took forever to get through customs), I still wonder if it had anything to with the 'incident' at Schiphol...
