Summer Is Here

A glorious day, being a Saturday I was in work by 08:30, only to see the guys and see how they were getting on, the long day comes tomorrow. The Hornby shop in Camborne received a visit from Joshua and I. We then came home for a late breakfast and eventually at 12:15 Samantha joined us.

We then meandered down town, ostensibly looking for Sardines for dinner for Clare and I but there were none to be had. After coffee and cake we made our way to the cinema for Bella's birthday party, whilst the adults enjoyed a coffee the children had their party lunch, we all had cake. The movie that followed was Ice Age III was great, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We then walked back to 'The House Of Tut' so that Samantha could see 'Smudge', Bella's new kitten. After more coffee we were dropped back at home where the debate over dinner started. At 'The House Of Tut' fish & chips had been mentioned so we took ourselves off to the Harbour Lights.

This was followed by a trip round 'The Point' on the way home. The photograph is of St Anthony's Light known to those of a "certain age" as Fraggle Rock.

I am now at home, settled in my armchair enjoying a Samuel Adams Boston Lager.
