10 kids and 8 adults

We had our midwinter gathering with 3 of our family friends tonight. Just a way to make sure we don't hibernate in the winter. It was just fabulous. We set up the room with a kids table and an adults table. We had a delish ham, plus a chicken dish, and one family brought a kumara salad, another brought a huge green salad, and for dessert the other family brought a berry brownie (heavenly) which we ate with some lemon meringue pie ice cream.

The kids aged from 15 to 3 and all played together beautifully. Everyone left around 10.30pm, full of food and with a very happy vibe.

I love this photo with its movement and all that...and our littlest dolly sitting there so beautifully, wearing a dress I bought for the Eldest 7 years ago, nice to see it still going strong! It was one of those buys where I saw the dress, had to have it, saw the price tag, did a deep intake of breath and thought WTF and bought it anyway. Glad I did, it I still get the I love it feeling when I see it.
