The Open

Up and out at the crack of dawn and at Royal Lytham and St Annes by 8.30. Managed to see most of the players. Sadly no cameras allowed so a mundane Blip I'm afraid. Everyone was given one of these hats as a promotion from a golf company. Turned out to be quite useful as I had not taken one and this strange orange ball appeared and hovered overhead for much of the day.It made me quite red. Sadly we did not see Darren Clarke as he did not make the cut. Home shattered. Egg and chips for tea. Then an early night.
