#SuperSaturday journey

Today we drove 221 miles around the constituency and Cathleen was at the wheel for two thirds of that.  

Cailean was doing the pictures and tweeting this  #SuperSaturday  journey  which involved  Alyn Smith MEP, the local MP Brendan O'Hara, two SNP Councillors (Sandy Taylor and Julie MacKenzie) my agent Marie Claire Docherty and lots of activists who were also  working in Oban, Campbeltown and Dunoon and a few other places as well.

Those on the trip across the constituency were  in and out of the cars more than half a dozen times for meetings, greetings and general political activity and we were warmly received everywhere.   The only downer was that when we got back home we discovered that some tolerant soul had scraped a key  along the door of my Land Rover when it was parked in Oban, presumably because it had SNP signs on it.
