Grey Wagtail
Still on a bird theme today. Thanks for so many comments on my heron yesterday at a time when I have such limited use of the internet that I can't leave comments myself.
Twenty locks travelled through today with me out helping with a lot of them. Audlem is famous for its flight of locks on the Shropshire Union Canal.
I was lucky that I was able to sit on the foredeck in a dry spell while this grey wagtail gathered a beakful of insects. I don't often see them and it's the first I've photographed and blipped. Borrowing the 400mm again, so heavy to hand-hold!
