Twickenham Stoop
Slightly annoyed that the camera hasn't stitched this properly but it would never have come out perfect anyway.
I never usually get a chance to do a complete (almost) stadium shot here as wouldn't normally be able to stand up in the middle of the very back row leaning back into the seats that go with the boxes.
We spent 9 hours here today. Cameron's team were playing in the Purdham Cup and then we stayed to watch Broncos v Wigan.
The Guildford Giants U9s did well, finishing 2nd in their group and getting to the semi final where they were beaten by the eventual winners. His team are playing on the right side of the pitch in this photo (it was split into 4 pitches)
The Broncos didn't do so well, losing 44-6 to Wigan. But Wigan are top of the league and Broncos actually played better than they have in a long time. They "relieved the coach of his duties" earlier this week and have appointed a previous manager until the end of the season. He only flew in from Australia on Thursday so obviously hasn't done much yet but the team played more positively and were more determined. They kept their heads up and apart from a bad first 5 minutes of each half where they let most of the tried in and some silly mistakes they played better than they have in a while.
So after a nice day in the sunshine we left happier than after the Leeds game a couple of weeks ago.
