Something Old

Something new, something borrowed ..... turning blue!

Yet another day guarding trains ..... pity about the weather, relentlessly wet and in the draughty 1866 guards van, cold.

Here, TR No 2, Dolgoch is leaving the Brynglas loop on her way to Tywyn.  Built in the 1960's the guards van is relatively new, certainly when compared to the two smaller coaches next in line which are originals, dating from the 1860's.  The green and cream coach originally ran on the long defunct Glyn Valley Tramway but we have 'borrowed' it.
