The basement of the local library houses a used book area, the contents of which must be packed up and stored during a renovation project. I enjoy helping to sort books and working at the monthly book sales. We had a sale last week where each person was handed a paper grocery bag to fill with whatever books they wanted for $1. That's $1 for the entire bag! We knew that every book gone was one less to pack and move. 
Today we (5 women) began packing up boxes that we have been collecting from local stores. We will do as much as possible until next Sat., when we hope to find some strong young men to load the boxes into our waiting pick up trucks and then into storage containers. 
It's a lot of work, but it's fun work!
