It's a bunya nut sculpture

My bad it's not a pineapple, the bunya tree is a local treasure.
History tells us the aboriginal tribes travelled hundreds of miles to the hinterland forests to have spiritual gatherings and eat the bunya nuts!
Our local IGA grocery store commissioned this guy to carve...hopefully the community will enjoy this artistic display!
