Baby bird...

When we got home last night there was squawk from the fireplace. I had a bit of a poke round while Ary supervised! but couldn't see anything. There was definitely something there though, I could hear it scraping around. I called my folks this morning and asked if Dad could come round and check it out.

Sure enough, once he'd pulled out the fire there was this little bird. Cute but I don't think he's going to last the night. We put him(?!) out in the back garden but he's too wee to fly and I'm guessing the nest is on the roof. Sad but not really much else to do.

It's happened before but I think the last one was fully grown. I was on holiday at the time but Dad said he just pulled it out and let it go out the window and off it went, covered in soot!!

I've spent the day taking photos at a friend's wedding. Very small do, only six of them there so we had some fun with the photos. I hope they like the end result.
