It is cloudy and rainy here in Blackburn.
The cats are cosily sleeping after their early breakfasts.
Arthur started miaowing at an unearthly hour, pulling me out of my dreams, but it meant a good start to the day and getting things done.
now I am enjoying Camelot on BBC2.
It is my brother - in - law's birthday.
In the afternoon we were overjoyed when the sunny weather returned.
This meant a visit to Whalley Abbey, in Ribble Valley, where they suffered badly in last year's floods.
Everything looks normal again now.
