E's Not Jesus, E's Just a Fella

We went to Downham at the foot of Pendle Hill today. It's a lovely Lancashire village and where they filmed 'Whistle Down The Wind' 51 years ago. The title of this blip is one of my favourite lines from the film.
Naoise and Tom are over from Ireland for the weekend and we took them there, so this gave me the opportunity to make everyone sit down and watch the film tonight, just so we could spot the places we had visited today. The village has barely changed in 50 years (so little that it still gets used to film period dramas) and I was particularly impressed to see the same phone box there in the same place.
