Wings....Mono Monday 119

The picture is made of butterfly wings, it belonged to my aunt and she passed it on to me and I have always thought it was the prettiest thing though have felt sad to think of the butterflies who died to make it. I always thought it was Victorian but a little research on the patent number on the back of the picture has suggested it was produced in the 1920's or 30's. There is a colour version in extras so you can see the iridescence and also a photo of the back confirming the source material.
