Arizona high country

Exploring new areas for us is always fun even getting lost at times. Some of the local maps are poor so we take our chances. This view is from a close by peak called Porter Mountain just out side of Show Low Arizona a few miles to the East. It's a volcanic peak of cinders where the local folks can scoop up the cinders for their driveways or what ever they like. There is skiing nearby in the winter but not every winter as it's location is a little low in elevation to catch much snow. The small lake below is Show Low Lake. More exploring tomorrow.
