Holiday Robin

A mixed bag of weather today! I was up and out earlier than usual on a Monday, but it was a Bank Holiday. So it was to go for my walk before the crowds arrived. 

I was joined by a good friend, so I set off showing her the multitude of bird's nests and new arrivals around the lake.

There also seemed to be an explosion of robins - they were everywhere....?

My attempt to attack more of the garden was completely thwarted by heavy downpours this afternoon, so that one will have to wait for a drier day.
