Paris/Family

Busy with kids!

(Began at the Orangerie Museum and felt the glow of Monet's Water Lily extended canvases. I had seen them in Copenhagen some time back. Great here. Then up to St Denys Basilica via metro. It is hard to get my head around the age of these amazing cathedrals and the workmanship. This one is full of buried king's and queens of France with each one a full sized likeness in repose, whatever that is called. And they were real! Somehow it is more real when you are with the burial sites. Then back to another metro stop so I could head up Montmartre which today was slammed with tourists. Descended passing through the amazing textile market and walked home on boulevard de Magenta, a true working class street. My photo is from there.)
