Happiness is....

....an armful of Bamboo.  Enjoyed a morning at the National Zoo with WRPerry, and for the very first time in all my visits, the Giant Pandas were outdoors and active.  I took lots of shots of them, lots of birds in the Aviary and at the Black Crowned Heron rookery, which I may not have time to look at today.  While we were there, I got a message from my husband telling me that our house guests, who were scheduled to arrive tomorrow evening, are going to arrive today, late afternoon.  I hadn’t counted on that so I am doing a bit of scramble.
