Mono Butterfly

I had to publish this as it is Mono Monday with "wings" as the subject. I watched the butterfly for 40 minutes, and it would not open its wings which were blue-grey and looked damp from the rain. Clearly it had crawled up the stem too early and sun was behind the clouds. However a really exciting find nearby, was a number of bee orchids - see extra if you like wild orchids. The last time I blipped one of these was June 1st last year, they are a month early!
