Young Swans

I meant to mention this with Saturday's blip but don't forget there's an Ely blipmeet on Saturday, we'd love to see a few more of you there :) 


Another lovely walk this morning with the Ely Friends Meetup Group at Milton Country Park which is already a favourite haunt of mine and Stella's.

We just had a slow meander today and stopped for a sociable coffee too. Very impressed that the cafe there not only has redbush tea but also soya milk so I could have whichever hot beverage I fancied. This morning called for coffee :) 

A few new faces to forget the names of but a very nice morning...plus it didn't rain!

The other dog on the walk got into a slight disagreement with one of these swans but Stella's behaviour was impeccable, probably due to tiredness, but it meant she sat with another member of the group while I went in to get the aforementioned coffee. 

A quick trip to the retail park afterwards to get a couple of kitchen bits and a frame for some art, plus I found some nice lampshades for the hallway in preparation for that being decorated. First job there is to book my electrician to replace the light fittings. Second job is to paint various squares on the walls and decide on a colour! 

All this social activity means that zero geocaching has been achieved this weekend, or indeed blog writing! Must knuckle down!
