Hard Knocks.

Long time friend and master fabricator "Badger" asked me to come down to his workshop and take a few pictures.

For nearly 2 years now his company "Hard Knocks Speed Shop" have been going from strength to strength, his main speciality being welding and fabrication. However, he is a bit of a master of all trades, and completely self taught.

The workshop is what I'd call "A proper one". An old converted barn full of tools, and the one man band that is Badger sitting with a fag on in the corner. No highly polished waiting rooms and girls in smart suits offering you coffee. There's a pool table upstairs, or you can just stand and chat for hours putting the world to rights.

It's a refreshing experience to say the least. And it seems many appreciate Badgers "Proper job" mentality, as in the workshop right now is the infamous "Red Victor 3". The 3rd incarnation of the UK's fastest street legal drag car.

Horse power in the thousands, in a Vauxhall Victor with an MOT. Fantastic.

This also gave me a chance to try out my flash gun a bit, which turned out to be very handy! More photos on my Flickr as ever.
