Drying out

The weather forecast was pretty bad, but we decided to brave it and venture out. We were headed for the Delamere Forest, with the option of heading for home sooner if the weather did not improve.We found a tea stop, sooner than the planned one, and as everyone was wet we decided to stop. After an initial grumpiness from the owner he gave us a very warm welcome.  Here are all our gloves - and a wallet drying out!

The weather did improve and we did the full ride, which included the canal paths through Chester. I was really disappointed that my camera battery died after one days use - not very impressed as I charged it before we came away. Hence I did not take many pictures - plus the weather was foul. 

In the evening we all had dinner in a local Chinese restaurant, Very nice and made even nicer by the owner buying us all a drink twice - because his family were making alot of noise - we hadn't noticed but didn't grumble
