Wood Duck

I've been trying to get a photo of wood ducks in the woods, but they skedaddle into the tree branches long before I can get a good clean look at them. This photo is looking across a river where four wood ducks were swimming under brush overhanging the river. The males are so gaudy they look almost fake in their natural surroundings.
