Crafty craft

We trained it into Newbury to visit the Crafty craft boat race and fair today. The homemade boats come through in a very spread out way down the canal to finish their race but as usual we didn't manage to see any as there were so many distractions and activities in the fair and stalls area!

Rosie won a fluffy duck on the hook a duck stall and Charlie won a shooting arrows game! There was a great swing ride, boats, inflatables, stalls, ice cream - and sunshine. A really nice day out. We headed into town for lunch and then home again on the train while R had a little nap.

Just got home before the heavens opened - good timing!
