May flowers

April's showers have certainly brought forth some lovely May flowers

This is an iris that has spread its tubers through the length of this flower bed and almost impossible to stop

I spent a long while today trying to do just that but I gave up.

The sun came out and I managed a couple of hours sitting in my garden.

Then, unexpectedly, two friends called in and we spent the evening together. I rustled up a quick supper before we watched the Masterchef finals and agreed on the one to leave the competition this evening. I think the bottle of bubbly helped the evening go well
