Beaming the warp
Or, winding the warp onto the back beam. This warp is 24 inches wide and 7 1/2 feet long, so it is a big warp. I have been working on it most of the day. I have learned that the more care you take in warping and preparing the loom, the easier and nicer your weaving is. Still have a long way to go before I can start weaving. After it's beamed, I have to thread it through the heddles, then through the reed. Then, tension it and tie it onto the front beam. After that, I can finally start weaving.
