Whistling Duck family

Daughter M and I met at the wetlands boardwalk this morning. I couldn't choose between a Least Bittern (which I don't see very often), or one of the shots of these Whistling Ducks with their large brood, so husband D made the blip decision :) They must have been pretty "new"/young- the parents were nervous that we were watching, and the babies all moved together like a little mat. We tried to count, but not sure- there were a lot (18-22?)- wonder how many will make it.
