FENWAY!!!

What a wonderful piece of history!!! My new and wonderful WCVB friends included me in "newsroom night" in their box. Fenway is a wonderful mix of old and new...add ons have all kinds of historical photos and don't appear to contrast with the old architecture and feel of the ball park. Had a great hot dog. Walked all around! Sang in the 7th inning stretch. Score was White Sox 1 and Red Sox 0 in the bottom of the 9th. Cody Ross (who had hit two three run homers the night before) was up to bat with one out, two men on base. His THIRD three run homer in two nights!!! Red Sox win with a walk off homer!!!! Yes, they swept us in the World Series but I did have to cheer for the home team.
