I dashed

A female intuition, a whatsapp message, a dash back and frenzied phonecalls.

One of the most traumatic events i have dealt with. A strong stoic face with whimpers and cries like an injured animal when not in earshot.

Hopes and dreams were absolutely shattered. Splintered into smithereens.

The worst of it was that I knew while this was the end of this bit it was the start of something far worse.

This whole episode has left me fearful. Like my friend said...this does not happen to people like it us. It has though.
