Oulton Park Diary

Day 1.

Road trip was done with no problem, although I may have been a bit ambitious with the planned 9am departure.

Stopped at local supermarket (the green one) for the essentials and headed into the circuit campsite. Tents, pitched, gazebo erected, BBQ lit and drinks poured - time for the obligatory camp photo. Sad to report that the gazebo did not survive the weekend :-(

Apparently that strange yellow orb in the sky is something known as "the sun"?? Unfortunately, it didn't hang around for too long. 

Didn't really see any of the action today, apart from the briefest glimpse of the 600cc class at Deer Leap. Absolutely awesome and enough to get the juices flowing for tomorrow.
